Extra Care Partner to Lincolnshire County Council

Extra CareBlue Skies Consortium has been selected as a strategic partner to Lincolnshire County Council for the delivery of extra care housing and retirement villages. The projected growth in numbers of older people in the County means that this is a ‘demographic time bomb’, in part due to the attractiveness of the County for inward migration for many past years.

The Consortium provides a full range of options for older people, from leasehold sale, through affordable extra care housing to registered care homes. The main partners delivering the housing for older people in the County are Lace Housing, Axiom HA, Longhurst Homes, Havelok Homes and Acis Group.

Discussions will be commencing soon with the County Council in order to take forward their strategy. A programme of new build and remodeling is envisaged. This is a major business area for the Consortium for the future.
