This development was on the former Roses Timber Yard site on Pinfold Lane in North Luffenham, a village in Rutland situated about 5 miles east of Uppingham and 7 miles west of Stamford.

Developer Francis Jackson Homes were building a total of 25 units on the site, and there was a requirement for 6 affordable units through a Section 106, comprising five intermediate rented units and one shared ownership.

Francis Jackson Homes pride themselves on their exceptional high quality specifications and finishes, with some of the market sale properties on the same development being on sale for over £500,000. The client benefitted from the fact that the same standard was also achieved in the affordable units.

The affordable units comprised a good mix of house types including two bungalows, which is very rare within a Section 106. The properties were of traditional construction, with some of them being finished in stonework.

Spire Homes acquired the properties all together on a “turnkey” basis.
